What we do
Three kinds of help, and you can start with one
Most families begin with a few hours a week and add from there. You are not signing up for a package.
This is non-medical care. Our aides help with personal care, companionship and transportation. We do not provide nursing, medical treatment or therapy, and we do not administer medication — our aides give medication reminders.
Who we are
Care of the Potter’s Hands
The name comes from the potter and the clay — the idea that a person is being shaped and held, not managed. That is the standard we hire and schedule against.
This is a Christ-centered business and we say so plainly. In practice it means patience, honesty about what we can and cannot do, and treating a person as a person rather than a list of tasks. Everyone is welcome here, whatever they believe, and nobody gets preached at in their own living room.
You are letting someone into your mother’s house. That should be somebody you would trust in your own.
